"WATCHER" the PERENTIE
Watcher is inspired by the mighty Perentie, the secong largest lizard in the world. We created our own material based on the
beautiful skin patterns of the mountain perenties, using a soft silky
short pile material.
We created her watchful pose as she quietly surveys the landscape around her.
So soft to stroke, Watcher is a beautiful toy to guard the end of the bed or gaze out the window. Her soft toes are individually sewn.
Traditionally, the perentie is known as a great and silent observer. Watcher has a calming personality, and is a discreet listener to conversation. She is made from new acrilic material and stuffing.
We gave Watcher a cute little chin flap for interactive finger puppetry. Held in your arms, her head can be made to twist and turn and her bright eyes don't miss a thing!
Her unique appearance helps children to value our fragile wild life, while her quiet and peaceful personality encourages conversation and inclusive imaginative play.
