CHAPTER 2
"The Three Friends Discover Misty"

Secret Gully is the sort of place that you like to explore. Sometimes you climb up the high ridges and look out over the mountains. Other times you walk through the tall forests and breathe in the fresh air.

But the creek is the most popular place to visit. There are beautiful rocks to climb and dazzling waterfalls to watch. The little shrubs and flowers that grow out of the cracks between the rocks are a pleasure to study, as they move gracefully in the gentle breeze.

And so it was that the three friends Spike, Bounce and Nibbles decided to go for a morning walk down to the creek. Perhaps they were going to play some games, or maybe they were going on an exploring adventure.

But to start with, they were just sitting together on a nice rock, looking down at the beautiful creek and having a chat. This is a very common thing to do in Secret Gully. There's always something to see and always something thing to talk about.

But when the keen eyes of Bounce saw something unusual down under a tree, the friends were quick to go and check it out.
